SMDC Sands Residences - LOCATION
The Sands Residences is located along M.H. Del Pilar St. near Roxas Blvd. Malate, Manila.
The eight-lane Roxas Blvd. (north-bound lane) is just a mere 20 meters away from the Sands, while the Roxas Blvd. East Service Road is adjacent to the Sands’ property line. This boulevard is steps away (at least 15 meters) from the Baywalk and the dolomite beach in Manila Bay that had been the subject of beautification and preservation by the Philippine government since 2020. This boulevard is also home to several tourism hubs, such as the Manila Yacht Club, restaurants, parks, hotels, commercial and corporate buildings, museums, cultural centers, entertainment centers, residential towers, and other modern attractions.
Moreover, less than a kilometer from the Sands Residences lays Manila’s University Belt where there is a high concentration or cluster of colleges and universities. Furthermore, the Sands has quick access to the area’s various hospitals, churches, and shopping centers, and markets.
Once you live along Roxas Blvd., specifically at the Sands Residences, you’ll never have dull moments even during the time of a pandemic. Aside from being close to Luneta Park (Rizal Park), the boulevard is a 7.6km stretch of wide road that starts from Rizal Park and ends in Parañaque City (at the intersection of NAIA Road and Seaside Drive).
The boulevard features the iconic Manila sunsets and stretch of coconut trees in a promenade, aside from the famous dolomite beach. In October 2020, the Bataan-Cavite Interlink Bridge Project (also known as the Manila Bay Bridge) was approved by NEDA. The project is a proposed bridge that plans to connect the provinces of Cavite and Bataan through Manila Bay.
Once the project is complete, travel time between Manila and Bataan (especially Central Luzon) will be reduced to just half an hour from more than four hours by land. Presently, there are ferry services that ply the route of Roxas Blvd. (such as Seaside Terminal) to Bataan. When you are living at the Sands, you will have easy access to these terminals if you have businesses in Central Luzon.
